And do you see any value in a factory reset as an interim thing?

I would strongly advise against that; for mine, the way I discovered it wasn't "just" a dead home button was that it wouldn't come back up after an OS upgrade without major contortions. Again though, that was an iPhone, but I'd be wary about taking a risk that it wouldn't come back up.

I did not wave. I bet that taught them a lesson!

Just got home from riding 25 miles on the D&L Trail. Kicked my butt, but in my defense the surface was wet and thus quite resistant.

Saw lots of people riding together. Passed as far right as I could. But at least I found a sweet stealth camping spot not too far off the trail. Now if we can just get a nice weekend.

I don't think that'll fly with the wife, but I'll try it out next time. ;)

I've been totally taken by boats and especially sail since I was a little kid. As a consequence of that infatuation I've worked as a boat builder more often than anything else. Now as an old man I'm still in love and read sailing stories and watch sailing videos often. There are videos showing how to tack a square rigger, something I've wondered about. From the number of videos it seems I'm not the only one taken by the romance of the sea. Some of the videos are from old film which can contain some surprises. The video in the link of the schooner Wanderbird, on a passage around Cape Horne, in which the owner sails with his family, shows a totally different attitude to children's safety as we see them climbing the rigging and cavorting out on the bow sprite.

I stopped by my LBS today after work in an attempt to throw some money at a local small business...yeah, they didn't really need my help. I walked in and their comfort and kids bikes in the center of the store are almost wiped out. The sales manager said they are building up 3 bikes and selling 5, regularly, and they've got a 2 week long wait list for repairs.

What this tells me is that the MUP is crowded in town.

Leaderboard shows all 3 podium spots taken by the docs.

Hmm....

Cold front. 33C. With the humidity it feels like 38. We blew a 50% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.

Gaggles more of kids riding here on the trails and in the streets. Passed a group of probably 10 with a few adults thrown in while driving home this afternoon. Taking advantage of lighter traffic, although today it was nice out so there was more traffic.

If seedsbelize is to be believed, I could be the George Washington Carver of Belize.

I'd bring calendars, peanuts, crop rotation planners, drones, super sperm, and robots. They'd erect a statute of me at the farmer's market.

Hmm?

After my ride, I ate lunch, hopped in the car with long-suffering spouse, (she) drove to Nap, and we worked on the boat for 3 hrs. This here small Beefeater and Fever Tree Aromatic is tasting a-mighty good.

Slash and burn 101

We got marched on in our sleep by army ants in Belize, not once but twice.

I probably would, if the berries presented themselves in bush form.

However I was referring to volume and greediness. When I encounter raspberries, my strategy is to eat them. All of them.

I bearish on raspberries.

I really think that I'm going to be lucky to get to 100 miles per week. I'm down to three ride days per week and, with the family home-bound, I feel a little guilty about skipping out for three, four, five hours at a time.
