Bob Roll keeps calling the team Jumbo “Veeeesma” but I confirmed with a Dutch friend it’s a short i. I should forgive this but I do find it annoying.

It could be rigged, if the low stop will adjust far enough.

Granted the cranksets are 52/36, but just go with the a 32 or 34 tooth cassette. That would be the same as a 50-34 and 30 tooth cassette

10 and 11 speeds take are the same width, just a spacer on the wheel if the hub can take either.

I've got 50/34, 52/36, and 53/39 cranks. I really prefer the latter two over the first. Shifting's better, and the gear range requires less FD shifting. With 50/34 I keep finding my self in Biggie Bigs and Smallie Smalls at normal human speeds.

Hmmmm. I've got the regular GCN crew calling it on Tiz Cycling. I figured BR only did the opening TT
Maybe Bob's doing Spanish pronunciation, in deference to them being in Spain.

My GCN+ subscription has the Vuelta blocked in USA so I paid $5 for Peacock, with Bob Roll and Christian VandeVelde. Weak sauce.

You gotta do what's expected. Doesn't matter where or when.

I find Bob Roll annoying in general.

My first compact (50x36) was in 2014 and I thought it was great. So great, I put a compact Campy 50x36 on my Gianni Motta. Then last year, I buy a Colnago with a 52x36 and now it's my favorite. I'll bet that I'd like a 53x39, also.

The Canyon's got a 52/36 with a 11-34 cassette, so the range in either chainring is so broad I am often surprised to find myself running out of big gears on a descent, or small gears on a climb, and I look down and I'm in the wrong chainring.

Getting settled in. Seats halfway between 3rd base and home, 14 rows from the field.

Must be his anniversary or something.

"Why is the hooman watching the screen? I'm obviously much more interesting."

Whenever we watch anything, AG picks a blonde woman to say "she's not even that attractive".

I, of course, don't argue, but it's been quite a distinct pattern. And out of the blue, not like I'm talking about them or their looks...

Oh, but she is, right? Simply because blonde. 😜

We’ve finally reached the point where I can comment that a woman is attractive without fear of having to call a divorce lawyer or having to buy flowers.
