Is this regular or Dutch apple pie in your scenario?

Dutch apple would squeeze in just before regular AP, maybe on a good day even ahead of blueberry.

That always bothered me as a child. "Have some rhubarb, it's great! Oh, by the way, don't eat the leaves, you'll die." Say, what?!?!

That very well could be it, a subconscious mental block. Fortunately I trust my wife enough that if she coaxes me to try some I'll have a fork full.

That's one I've never heard of.

What's your stance on pickles?

I'm not a fan of pickles, don't like anything pickled. I do love half-cukes to death.

BillyD 07-17-20 03:58 PM

I was so stressed at the beginning of this month I totally overlooked the thread change. The end of this month looks better. :D

The end is real? Sad!

Hopefully you'll be ready for 2021 softball!

Meanwhile, I can't find my baggie of rotor bolts. I checked in the Wheel Parts Drawer and the Brakes Drawer, and nada :(

Guess I need to go get some beer and clean off the workbench :bday:

Would you say that someone stole your baby bike bolts?

You would love bread and butter pickles if they were marinated with Mrs. LAJ's flakes for a few days.

What about pickle ball?? It’s quite popular with the older set.

I’m not invested enough in Strava for that. I’ll just pair my watch to the pedals and be done with it. That’s what I’d been doing for years, only with the Quarqs on my main bikes.

isn’t it easier on garmin connect where you can separate indoor rides and the rest? If you connect your trainer as a controllable trainer, the activity automatically classified as an indoor ride. Then separating them from the rest becomes easy.

Got home on time for once. I was hoping to ride tonight but naturally it’s storming.

Yeah, it's hilarious.

"Well, let's take a look at your power curve and tell you what kind of rider profile you have! Hmmmm... no - that's too high and that stretches out too much... Let's just trim a little here, flatten a little there... et voila! You, my friend, are an all-arounder! Kudos!"

I can see a way of changing the % envelope for individual rides, but I'm not seeing a global setting. Oy.

When I was but a wee lad, I was helping my grandmother cut up rhubarb and she scolded me for throwing away a good part of the stalk with the leaves. I wasn't taking any chances :D

Can the flakes just be popped in to a jar of store bought pickles or do they need to be introduced when pickling?

Side note: do you and the Mrs make any hot sauces? If I have a lot of Thai peppers and I can't think of what to do with them, I was thinkin' that I might see if I could make some sauce, but I've never looked in to the process.

datlas 07-17-20 05:23 PM

Just put things together for tomorrow’s ride.

Did I tell you guys how much I enjoy the Hirame pump head? After using so many others, it’s such a pleasure to use.

Bah Humbug 07-17-20 05:58 PM

Wow, so my triathlon teammate won that show Labor of Love, and then they broke up before it aired because they were clearly visibly incompatible.

Well and this is why I miss racing; that was the ultimate determinant of what I could do, and what I needed to do. Or even a damn group or charity ride.
