lol, no. Mostly we call him Kitty.

Speaking of kitty, there is a calico white/ginger cat that has been coming to our back porch the past week or two. Jackie does NOT like this invasion and sits at the window making very guttural angry cat sounds and hissing. This may be natural and normal behavior but at 2AM it's quite disruptive to our sleep. The last two nights we have actually banished her to the basement ("the dungeon") in order to be sure we are able to sleep.

That replaced the old Serotta ti.

I know it's a stereotype, but I did used to ride with a dentist who had a Serotta ti.

Broad-winged in a tree and same in flight. Note the broad black band in the tail.

He did quite well, although that is likely in part due to weak sprinters.

59. Smallest size with a long enough top tube and tall enough head tube.

Wow, not only am I suspecting to have to cancel the Wednesday bike ride, but the current forecast says 3.5 inches of rain on Wednesday courtesy of Ida.

That's a lot of rain.

He won 4 stages. True, a lot of his competition wasn't there but he still showed up, stayed upright, and climbed all those mountains.

That's all? This morning Action News was saying possibly 5".

I'll keep my eyes open in this area for you. There are some around for sale, but not that big.

Not so much. Not like with the Circuit or the Supreme. I don't even have a build in mind. More opportunistic. The other thing is I know the Classic is substantially more flexy than the Ultimate I originally pined for, and at 200# I'm kinda borderline.

Basically I have two days to decide and I'm not finding myself having to hold back from hitting "Accept Offer", so I'll most likely let it go. I mean, for cripes sake, I have EIGHT BIKES. I already feel bad for the ones that don't get enough road time. (Probably shouldn't anthropomorphize so much)

Thanks!
It's been my observation that there are a crap-ton of 54s and 56s of every bike I might be interested in, and surprisingly some 60s and 62s, but not a hell of a lot of 58-59s.

… that, yes. Or just spend the entire flight slowly eating a bag of peanuts to have an excuse to leave the mask down the entire time.

Bah Humbug 08-30-21 01:31 PM

I suppose the interesting question is, are pilots in short supply for companies like UPS, or only commercial passenger airlines?

Velo Vol 08-30-21 01:50 PM

It's time.

I sold two bikes last year. The touring bike I had not ridden in 13 years and the mountain bike I had not ridden in 3 years since I got the new one. When I got the Seven I didn't ride the Gunnar unless the Seven was down. Since I found the crack in the crankarm I am riding the Gunnar again. I could be happy with one road bike but obviously I need a back-up.
The Gunnar also has rack eyelets and a triple so it can carry panniers if need be. If I bought a new road bike now I would try to sell the Seven and keep the Gunnar.
I've given my old bikes away or sold them cheap. The only one I sold for reasonable (for me) money was the Landshark.

Every time I read your posts and think, "something like that would be cool", I have to step back and tell myself that I'm not a Doug. :D

Bah Humbug 08-30-21 02:00 PM

Am I a serious rider? I’m seriously not sure.

So glad my employer is on essential travel only status for the foreseeable future.
