The range rating also drops significantly to just 75 km (47 miles) when traveling at 60 km/h (37 mph).

I wonder how much it weighs.. and what is the optimal speed for 186 mile range to be realistic.

Riding position seems a bit aggressive for 186 mi. range... without water bottle cages.

Ugggg-oh-leeee! Though could be neat. 47 miles at 37MPH isn't terrible I could see having fun with that.

I'm sceptical about the 300 km range, even with a 2000wh battery, which must weigh a tonne.

I read about this bike this morning too. No, I don't see this as the bike for me. However, I am glad to see more of the established motorcycle accompanied getting more involved with their own distinctive bikes.

I also suspect that the high range numbers are, like so many other manufacturers, based on having the motor in the lowest possible setting.

My ebike is of questionable legality because it has a throttle, but it cuts off at 28mph, so it's not outrageous. Hard to imagine that beast being exempt from all legal requirements for a motorcycle: license, registration, inspection, turn signals etc.

Maybe it would be legal some day, but not now in CA. Of course, the "Class" laws aren't being enforced at this time, but a potential problem could arise if you got into an accident.

Also illegal in MN: State codes limit ebikes to 1000W, and not able to exceed 20mph under power. It may be called a bicycle, but it sure stretches that definition -more like a moped or minibike.
