I also have a few pairs of breathable, waterproof, socks, which are pretty nice.

I'd be wearing spikes.

But Sebago says, they are "the perfect nautical footwear." :)

Confession: I had a pair of Docksides back in the 1980s. I did not always wear socks with them.

Last name sounds familiar. John’s kid?

Speaking of being a father, my son got me a Star Wars Lego set for Father's Day. My son happens to be obsessed with both Star Wars and Legos. This is the second time that he's gotten a Lego set as a gift for me. He's so thoughtful.

I would not have minded a son. That said, I have two delightful daughters I wound never trade for anything.

My pleasure. Could not happen to anyone more deserving. Happy Father's Day!

For the record, I often follow up a big week with a light week so I’ll probably collapse next week. :D

Indeed. Too askeered to have mrs datlas do it. Barbers allowed to reopen here on Friday at 50% capacity so I hope to remedy the issue soon.

It's warmer in the Arctic Circle than it is here.

Everyone likes a cat pic, right? This is a neighbor cat, but I couldn't resist the shot out the kitchen window.

Yep, and a chip off the old block. Quite an athlete. John was there, one of the few people in the stands.
