Over many years I've become very fond of horses. They can be comedians and playful despite their size. They seem to exude a certain energy which is why some of us like to be around them and of course they like to be around people. It has been a partnership lasting between 5000 and 10,000 years and maybe more. A very good friend of mine was a quarter horse mix with a John Deere tractor. Which is to say he was not a beautiful animal on the outside but inside he was a prince. He was sweet and affectionate and named Chochise but his friends called him Coach. The video link is to two German girls having a day out with their horse, also a sweet animal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJyT6Qg3ANU

I'd take glass, as long as I had proper PPE. I was happier at the bottom of the elevator.

Looks like I'm going back to normal production at work. May 4th. Is the rumor. Company wide teleconference shortly.

Again, thank you all for the kind thoughts regarding Indy, and us. It means a lot.

As mentioned earlier... Gronk and Brady. Lordy.

Another slow one. Everybody must have become productive. Shoveling snow perhaps. Sleeping in perhaps. 77°A and heading for a high of, you guessed it, 100°. It's been quite a run.

Should be a nice day day, getting up to the low-60s. That in mind, I got clearance for a long ride from the wife yesterday.
....and before going to bed, I reviewed the calendar and saw that I have a tire/oil change appointment this morning. :notamused: |

Basically how the rest of the week is forecast to play out. I'm still failing at finding motivation to go ride. Brought my MTB to work yesterday with full intentions to ride after I clocked out, but ended up unexpectedly needing to pick up something from a store right after work and the experience totally drained me. I've also somehow become a total weenie and won't go out when it's below 50°. I would have killed for that temperature two months ago  |

Annoying. Start your ride from the shop? Or is it ever so obnoxiously timed that it ruins any option to work around it? I love it when that happens.

After weeks of below normal temps and miraculous rain it's supposed to be in the 90s on Friday.

Or mow the lawns.
Some of the yard work is being done by homeowners - I guess it depends on the scale of the yard and how much effort you want to put into it. Once again it is cold here - this morning temps were in the 30s, but it might get up to the mid 60s during the day. |
