Hello from Espaņola, New Mexico
Greetings from northern New Mexico!
I got back into riding last year, after hip replacements. I raced as a teenager in Tucson, Arizona in the '70s, and built my own frame as an apprentice to Colin Laing during my senior year in high school, in 1976. I'm in the process of restoring it, and build #1 is done. Maybe someday I'll post pictures of it. ;) - Fred |

Greetings and welcome! Sounds like the replacements went well!

Build #1, pretty much as raced 45 years ago. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...6efedd4a98.jpg The rider has changed considerably, however. |

The Jamis Citizen 1 that I started riding again on. I got a step-through frame to start on again after my hip replacements. It's been a trusty steed. I'm building up another step-through for my brother: https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...bc5076532b.jpg Rivendell Clem Smith Jr. Kinda like the Jamis, but looooonger! Lighter, too. |
