FS: My gorgeous '74 Paramount in Chestnut, tall bike

Sadly, life changed soon after I acquired and overhauled this beautiful piece about 7 years ago.

From when I got it:

Got it together and never rode it much. '74 Paramount, original paint, all original Campy NR/SR except Zeus brakes. Currently has NO brake cable binder bolts (one broke, I have them set aside somewhere in storage but don't count on my finding them. No bar tape (will include new rolls). No hoods. It'll need a wiping down which I'll try to do. A few minor chips; one on the downtube by the shifter (from the brake) and another on the top tube. Detailed pics upon request - it's hard to get at right now. Apologies but I have to get this ball rolling. Larger frame suitable for my 34" inseam.
I think the bike was barely ridden when I got it. It's really a stellar piece. PM for details and better pics, but expect some delays.

Pic is from when I last had it out. I will provide the original Campy pedals vs. the ones shown.

$1350 + ship

PM to begin a discussion...

Thanks,

Ron

That Chestnut Brown looks great in the sun. Looks like a P13 racing model without eyelets, sized for 700c wheels. 63 CM seat tube from your other thread. Very nice!

Thanks for this detail! Haven't had time to add it.

Wonderful looking bike, if I didn't already have a brown Paramount I'd be trying to get in a bid before merziac sees it.

Paramount was at the top of Schwinn hierarchy during that time; I've heard. I am eyeing on adding one to my bikes' arsenal for quite some time, but the prices for "C&V" paramounts in my area are too steep.

The one in the OP is in great shape, btw.

Same here, I have a 72 that looks much the same and is in mint condition with the original bits.
Nice to have a P13 as a tribute to the Schwinn history.

No danger from me, I'm at the end of my rope except for fantasy/screamin/exceptional/deal/bike/frame, no pot or window so......

I might find a way for the right one.

I do need a couple more for an even dozen but I do have some exceptional finds, including 2 giants that will hold me well for the time being.

This is tempting. Set for bikes through Spring. Got two to build. I'll keep an eye on this one.
