38 miles from Redmond to Seattle around the north end of Lake Washington. Mostly on the Sammamish River Trail and the Burke Gilman Trail.

Have you stopped vibrating from all the tree roots pushing up the pavement?

The SRT isn't that bad but yeah, the BG has a lot of bumps. Only spent about 2-3 miles on it in the Seattle area where it starts to get bad.

Used to commute on BG to Kirkland daily. Think it loosened my fillings, if not my brains. :D

86 miles, almost doubling what was the initial goal... Was not planning it, but it sorta kinda just happened. Then it started to rain. Fml

mschwett 09-24-22 01:46 PM

Forty and change. The legs just didn’t have it in them today. Must still be in post-Rona recovery.

45 on FW trinity river tails splitting hard and gravel paths on surly ss.
85 start and 95 finish temps.
Recovering from rotator shoulder and still a ways to go...

rydabent 09-25-22 07:46 AM

25 miles, and I dont think that is too bad for an old guy of 84!!!

Broctoon 09-25-22 01:29 PM

45 miles, with 3300 feet elevation gain. I wanted to get some climbing, and I did!

808HIcycler 09-25-22 06:39 PM

77.5 miles with over 5500ft of climb. Only the second metric I have done and my longest ride by 14 miles, and over 1,000 ft more than the next closest climbing day for me. Super happy with it.

Troul 09-30-22 07:41 AM

81 Cold miles. Might be the last longest OutDoor ride for a few months... The sinuses can't take too much of it.

2manybikes 09-30-22 08:33 AM

30 miles on the dog trike.

SpeedyBlueBiker 09-30-22 08:17 PM

Shortest ride of the year today. 0.73 miles. That's right, it's not a typo, 0.73 miles or 1.17 kilometres. The reason is that my left cleat finally gave up and died. The front piece of the cleat became totally shaved off so it couldn't grab the pedal. Difficult to find an original replacement so I settled on a knock off. I'll try it out tomorrow and se how it works.

Troul 10-01-22 10:35 AM

70 miles.

Troul 10-02-22 07:46 AM

Gusting 37 miles

62 miles, 3527 feet, 17.1 mph avg with a couple of PRs on my new Aethos. Thrilled.

Only had about an hour, so made the most of it. Only one PR.

Kinda late with this, but got back on the bike Sunday for the first time in 8 months. Could only do 16 fairly flat miles. Felt like 116. Actually no, I’ve done well over 130 and had more in the tank than I did Sunday.
So hard to get to a nice level, and so easy to lose.

I see lots of hard work in my future...
