A Glove I Didn’t Know I Needed
I bought a new pair of gloves. They had nylon thread between the fingers. The clerk didn’t know why. I thought, rather ghoulishly, that they were to keep your fingers attached in a crash...turns out they’re for removing them...and I like them a lot!

yep; got a pair like that; they work great!
btw, how often do you replace yer gloves? I say every year- not bc they wear out but cuz they have bacteria/etc on them :notamused: |
I wash them every other ride or so, so they usually last a couple, three seasons. Delicate cycle with shorts and jerseys.
|
My Giro gloves have finger pulls on top of the finger holes... Love them. I really wish they still made those gloves, half finger gloves with leather palms, merino wool tops.

That is a neat idea. I wish mine had those. They are a pita to remove

My Pearl Izumi gloves have a finger pull on the 4th finger.

I removed the finger pulls on mine because they caused flatulence.

I've never tried washing gloves. I get the impression gloves will dry out/not survive the ordeal

Taking my gloves off is always a race for me- it's the first thing I do after I get off my bike, between "Upload ride" on the Garmin and the alert on my phone that my ride is ready to view on Strava. I try to beat the alert. It's about 50-50. I love my gloves, no finger pulls, no adjustable strap, great fit, amazing grip. (Brand withheld until I get full financial remuneration for endorsement.)

I hate them. Those threads got caught on stuff if I do other things with the glove on.
I guess my fingers are skinnier than average. So I never had much trouble taking off my gloves. Also, as the gloves aren't too uncomfortable, I often keep them on at lunch break. That's when I run into trouble of the threads getting caught... |

I won't buy a pair of gloves unless they have those pull loops.
