I had to give up B and J's. Always ate the whole pint

Thanks. I got an injection of Avastin in my left eye and will have to have injections every month or so for 2-3 years. I had a vitrectomy in my right eye some years ago but my specialist wants to try injections in the eye this time, but 2-3 years is a lot of injections. :(

Ouch.

Ouch? Wait till you see the price tag. OUCH!

edit: cost for eye use not bad. The chemo dose is $$$.

Doc said it was just a wee little bit of Avastin because I asked if I needed to consult with my oncologist first and he said it was such a little amount that it would be OK. Maybe the wee bit will be wee priced. :D

Also, I really get two injections per treatment. One of lidocaine and one of Avastin.

What would happen if I injected Avastin into my knees?

I called the owner and after some delays and back-forth we met her at the intersection of the trail and her private road/driveway to reunite them. She drove up in a shiny new red Bentley which I believe costs well into the six figures.

I was going to say something snarky like "if you can afford a Bentley, you can afford an electric fence for your dog" but chose to take the high road.

Very generous.

Really, any eyeball injections is a lot. I'd like to get through life with a solid zero.

On my lunchtime walk through the neighborhood, it was lunchtime for everyone.

I heard a caller on Dr. Zorba talk about these and he said the shots aren't painful because it's numbed.

Two hour conference call this morning. I dusted the entire first floor except for the kitchen.

It's not even the thought of pain that gets me. No, it's anything going near my eyes. Just shoot me.
