Well, that's less than carbon DA Di2 money.

Unsolicited Dory Content:
First, this is something she started doing a couple months ago. She hops up on the little piano bench next to my chair and turns her back to me, demanding scritches.

If I stop, she paws at the arm of the chair, which we call "Pennying", after Sheldon Cooper's habit of knocking on Penny's door in a particular way - *knock knock knock* "Penny!", *knock knock knock* "Penny!", *knock knock knock* "Penny!" - on Big Bang Theory, because she always paws 3 times, then waits for a response, then paws again...

Yes but it would buy a fleet of Saturns. Or a custom made-to-measure crabon fiber frameset.

:innocent:

Jeez, you cut your arm below the elbow one time with a chainsaw and now it’s your palms.

BTW, I finished up the job while my wife was backing the car out to rush me to ER. :thumb:

Fixed

I see Strava is having problems again. Of the 6 people on my group ride that finished an hour and a half ago, only two have uploaded.

Yes, it could!

Would you rather have the thrill and excitement of a carbon frame that would eventually assplode or an aged Saturn that will only die a slow death?

I hear they all break . . . I mean, that's what they told me on Bike Forums.

big john 10-15-21 02:02 PM

It's hot, dry, and windy here. Tomorrow I think I'll ride my crabon mountain bike instead of the road bike. I hope it doesn't asplode. I also hope my riding areas are not closed.

In snowboarding news, my wife has finally made the move to Burton Step On bindings. She made me demo them for a few years and was skeptical. Quite a bit different than the old step in bindings, but still nice. And it sucks to be the person everyone is waiting for.

A Basin opens on Sunday.

Addiction reminder that it's probably time to get my trees trimmed.

I've come to terms with it.

We had most of our trees removed, leaving us with a Magnolia, a pair of Live Oaks, a California Buckeye, and an Orange. Then there was a historically huge acorn drop, and I spent hours this spring and summer pulling up Oak seedlings. From mighty acorns, little Oaks grow.

We ski with another family mostly. Two adult skiers, me, and three boy skiers. They get off the lift and are ready to go. I step in and I'm ready. Everyone has to wait for the ratchet binding.

I was taking a cheap shot at my cycling speed.

Don't worry, you could easily drop me. Going downhill.
