I still run a cute little 1/2” 8tk Otari and mix to a 1/4” machine. I recorded on big 3M machines for a while but they were really meant for studios with a machine room. The benefit of few tracks is you have to plan stuff, record with the mix in mind, and actually make decisions as you work. Otto |

Be careful! Ignoring an odd feeling in my left pedal because I was in the middle of a race ended up with the pedal breaking off the spindle while I was sprinting, and I clouted my left ankle something fierce!
