Actually checked the numbers the frame numbers are TBI-0A-06 then lower C53GL214 which seems to indicate a Taho Tawain built in 2006 sold as 2007 limited model. The fork is is 2000 z5 made in 1999...

+ 1 As far as I know the Trek Kenisis Alloy forks never had safety issues. I will say the ride quality was a bit sub par for this level bike so a lot were swapped out for carbon for a better ride...
