105 has better seals in the hubs and ball bearing thrust washers in the calipers. RX100 is nice, but 105 is superior in several ways.

If it's any help my '85 760 will swallow 700 28s with ease. This is a very nice frame. Don't be scared of the steep angles, they ride like a Cadillac. If it were a 58 I'd have another one on the way.
