Is it normal wheels go out of true after a fall?

Ran over a really bad bump, next time I knew I was falling on the drive side, handlebars took most of the brunt, RD had some scratches, steering went out of alignment, but I still could continue...

Do chains on smaller wheels generally wear out faster than bigger wheels?

Riding a Brompton as my daily commuter, realised I'm already at 0.5 wear close to the 1000km mark, on my bigger bike I can get more mileage out of a single chain and cassette.

Does anyone use this to put hard to fit tyres by hand? Is it effortless as advertised? Planning to use this on my Marathons on the Brompton, which I spent almost an hour just to get it on, ugh.

Another thing I do remember, I deflated my tyre and left it with minimal pressure for a couple of days before inflating it again, reckon that moved the rim tape about with low pressure ?

My chain is currently at 0.5% wear, should I wait till its .75 wear before I change it to maximise its usage? I am on a 10 speed system. Currently already more than 6,000km used on it since last year.

Especially on my rear wheel? I ride with 2 panniers, total weight maybe 7kg max, 20km every weekday at least to the office and back.

24 spoke rear wheel.
