I had to drill a hole through my post and put a crappy allen wrench through it. A couple of full swings with an ax got it to turn, the after a lot of beating it slowly came out.

Rite now my mountain bike is pretty comfy for me, even with a cheap $20 saddle. I plan on getting a Brooks Champion Flyer, that should help a lot.

I usually take a normal water bottle cage and hose clamp it on the frame. Also it won't hurt your paint if you wrap electric paint where the hose clamp will go.
