Tried but the chain has a bent link, seat got loose, and some stupid kid leaned out of a car and tried to hit me so i was way to pissed to keep riding.

yup, not so much more now that i got my road bike as it's a little twichyer(sp). on my old marin hybrid i could spin up hills no problem, even went off of curbs no problem.

I always am listening to my mp3 player while I ride so I just act as though I didn't hear them so they don't get to enjoy it. but when someone atempts to harm me it's a different story all together....

I too tilt my knee in to the corner. I find that it helps to indicate my intention of turn in with out lifting a hand off the bike. I also believes it helps to lower your center of gravity helping...
