I have a 48 volt recumbent ebike, and it will top out at 43 km/h (30mph) which is plenty fast on a bike BTW.
My Cycle Analyst meter says I average 22km/h which is the speed on most trails.

I've replaced many tire's on many bikes, but never had to wait for poping noises or use 160psi to seat tires....

I think the wheel is plenty strong to hold your weight (180) and then some. Make darn sure you tighten...
