Elitists? You mean egotists :-) The plush bikes are just as light and have same components as their more aggressive counterparts. Unless you are racing, the more relaxed geometry is going to suit...

+1 I love that color. Don't worry, the bar tape will turn black after a few rides. I'd also use black paint on the red seat part. Sweet looking bike.
