I'm using Chromecast on the TV at our vacation home to avoid paying for cable twice.

I get local HD channels with an antenna. Netflix, and some other built in apps on the TV over the internet.

I shoot Raw+JPG as a default, for easier workflow. Nail the shot in the camera and you've got the JPEG with no post production.

If its off a tad, then you've got the RAW file.
