Whew! I read this whole thread and no Land Surveying grads....well, here I am. My degree is in forestry actually but my classes were concentrated around surveying. I do alot of civil work though.

I'm 5'8" and I got a Defy 3(first bike) about a month and a half ago. It's a medium and fits great. I've put 650 miles on it so far. Everything works great. You cant go wrong.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going to try minicell foam. For some reason all I could think to do was use rolled up paper but alpha's idea sounds great and minicell should last well.

Hello eveyone. I bought a Sigma 1606L(I think thats the model) with cadence. I love the computer but I haven't installed the cadence sensor because I'm not sure how well it will work with the FSA...

I would say go ride a few and then ride them again. Thats what I did. I rode the Defy 3 then went to another dealer and rode the Jamis Ventura Sport and then went to another dealer and rode the Fuji...
