I've posted this numerous times so everyone is probably tired of reading it again but I picked up an Ultegra 6700 take off for $400. The seller was an SRAM guy and didn't want it at all.

For me the differences is in the RD and Shifters. The Shifters on 105 feel a bit rougher in finish and the shifts are precise but a bit rough. I've had 5 bikes with 105 and all were tuned up.

I've had many bikes with 105 and as soon as I tried Ultegra once I knew I was never going back. For me I try to get Ultegra whenever...
