Wheel won't make your ride more or less comfortable. Tires will. Spend more $$ on good tires like 25mm GP4000s. Wheels are for performance enhancement. Unless bling bling is what you are looking for.

Chain wear might mean that the cassette and/or front gears might also have some wear. Did you check how much stretch the chain has? If it痴 out of rage then you might be on the market...
