I would go with kerosine too ... don't actually...

I would go with kerosine too ... don't actually know what simple green is, but kerosine gets the job done for me very well - especially for degreasing, where wd-40 does not excell ...

I got a used 23 from a mate and - sure enough - it fits.
And 25 would fit too ...
I would like to fit 28, but that looks a bit risky ......

I read that if my rims outter width is 23mm - it should be at least 17c ETRTO..
So I should be safe trying say ... 25 - I guess...

I am not sure about the rim inner width - i guess the only way is to take out the tire and measure ...

The tires are rubbing against the brake mechanism....

And i am intending to use what is called an acrylic gloss varnish over the new pain on the whole...

This might be a dumb question ...

But would it be stupid to coat my head tube bearing races with varnish to protect them more?

The frameset is painted - just waiting for the clear coat ...
