The larger the rear tire, the less takeoff power, and slower to get going, but faster on the top end, in my opinion. If you plan on just cruising around, you would be better off with the 20 rear....

I am a fat 255 pounds, on a RANS tailwind, and I CANNOT keep up with my 150 pound wife on her Sun EZ-1. When we rode Giant Cyprss DX's, I could keep up with her pretty good. That was 5-10 years ago....

I bought a 2001 Rans Tailwind in mint condition. It looks like it has never been used. The tires are Primo Comets, and look great, but they are probably the original tire, which makes them 11 years...

I kept up with her today. I discovered my rear brake was dragging. Fixed that and all was good. I think my wife did that! :)
