Same here. Even the much maligned WD-40 will work. Spray some WD-40 into a little dish, let it sit for a few days, after the light stuff evaporates, there's still oil remaining.

It will then fit, although the wall thickness might make it too weak.

Thus, pedal specific 15 mm pedal wrenches.

The frame dropout looks like paint damage. Hard to imagine...

Another option is a J-Tek Shiftmate. I am going to try it on one of my bikes running Campy 10 with a Shimano cassette.
Swapping the freehub is good, but not sure I can on this particular wheel.
