Raleigh Twenty Fenders

Are the cheap 20" fenders on epay workable on a Raleigh Twenty? Has anyone tried them? I have a twenty that needs fenders and i am thinking these will fit nicely. It is hard to find 20 inch fenders....

yup....it pulls way past the first gear pawl/catch on the shifter but the little spring thing that pushes against the block that is supposed to push down the block to catch on the pawl isnt pushing...
