Feels like yesterday. My dad did that, the hard way. With a video camera, in real time as projected. Now no vcr. And the tapes don't last that long either.

Dad's doing well. Surgery was yesterday afternoon. He will be in the hospital for a couple days then a rehab center. Then back home. He is resting pretty well, he is sore but in pretty good spirits....
