Such are the challenges with C&V stuff. I had the same issue with a 7200-rear hub. A BF'r sent me a rear hub with a split hub housing with good parts. Saved the day.

Update: I did insert a dowl, which soaked up the ATF/Acetone but didn't swell enough to get stuck. The post is still stuck too.
