I was really looking forward to trying the Power Cup, but looking in to them briefly... it's weird. There's no mention of the ETRTO TSS (hookless) spec/compatibility and they seem to be sized more...

I was thinking more like the spring or summer. Barring a catastrophic cut/puncture, I shouldn't need to buy any tires for 5,000+ miles. If the 5kS TR get down to ~$50ea, that'd be good enough for me....

I've gone through a set of these (one front, two rear), I'm around the same size and got right around the same mileage (~2500-3000 miles) out of each of the two rear tires.
