yup. Never had an issue with MTB plugs using...

yup. Never had an issue with MTB plugs using bacon as well, but the pressure on the road tires just pushed the things out.

After reaming the hole with the spiny hole reamer...

After reaming the hole with the spiny hole reamer tool (the imagination reals) to roughen up the casing - the hole was considerably larger to insert the bacon. Mystery solved.

Gave up on the idea...
