I thought their OutFront geometry with 55mm fork offset was supposed to add stability .
Would going from 32mm to 35mm tires help ?

Current Trek Verve 3 is what I'm looking for in a cc touring bike , comfortable upright flat bar riding position and reasonable 2 x gearing for climbing .

It's been discontinued it the USA , the flat bar version .
