That's extremely sketchy. I hold quite the opposite opinion on quill stems; I think they're extremely elegant when executed properly: Shimano & Nitto come to mind. I also don't change my bars often...

Very classy build, but why go with a quill to threadless adapter? You can get Salsa Short 'n Shallows in a 26.0 and a beautiful Nitto Dynamic stem that would make the setup absolute tits.
