besides riding fixed being a requirement to live in my Brooklyn hood, I think the aesthetic of fixed gear bikes are appealing and the resulting leg strength is also a nice perk.

I just picked up some Omniums with a 50T chainring. The seller stated that it was "true track" but i'm curious what effect will a 50T have over what I've come to believe is a standard 48T chainring....
