I got 2nd place... one of the crafty old guys...

I got 2nd place... one of the crafty old guys (Former Masters World Champ Sprinter) showed up with a 126" gear on!

Once he got on top of that I couldn't reel him back in despite my much higher...

Yep, I change gears at least 3 or 4 times per training session often more.

Usually something like:
Warm-up - 86 or 88
Flying or accel activations - 92, then 98
Starts - 102, then 104, then 106...

The odd thing was, I had my own Zipp 900 which fit with no issues, then I borrowed a friend's newer Zipp 900...

Yep, I think that they still need to keep something in place to make sure that bikes don't get so light that they become unsafe... but in this day and age 6.8kg is far too high.
