I may have to do this. My old school steel bike is on the trainer, and the bailout gear is 42-21. It makes the hills a challenge now that I am old and soft and have a 34-28 bailout in real life.

Agree. But since most of my rides are group rides, the social aspect (or maybe just "accountability") seems to be a strong motivator to keep me on the trainer.

I actually prefer to ride outside...

I have used Zwift in the off season when roads are not safe. So typically I would do 1-2 rides/week November through March, and generally do group rides with people I know. We chat with each other...

Yeah I recall the sufferfest platform and it is focused on workouts. Will mess around online and Plan B will be to reactivate Zwift earlier than planned. I don't use it regularly until November.
