Yup, I was in the same quandry about which way to go...I wish I could of afforded to just buy a new Allez or Trek 2300, but I figured that alot of my costs at the LBS would still be...

I had the LBS do the work so it was REALLY easy...

FWIW, The Sirrus is considered a flat bar road...

FWIW, The Sirrus is considered a flat bar road bike and not technically a "Hybrid"...it's basically a Sequoia w/ a flat bar on it. I think their Crossroads is their push for a Hybrid.
