Sweet deal. I got a 1000 in 2003 and it's still working quite nicely. Some of the upgrades over the years I can imagine give yours a better ride quality. Happy trails ahead :)

Someone on weight weenies had given them a trial run and got just about 700 miles from them. I think they'd probably last a lot longer on a time trial bike due to the decreased amount of shifting...

The 5900 frames have had shimano stickers on them for a while now I think. Probably under the clearcoat, and annoying to remove.

Nice, I always love seeing Rolf’s anodized rims on the road. Bontrager’s blue rims just don’t seem to hold a candle to them.
