Shimano BL-R400 levers look exactly the same as...

Shimano BL-R400 levers look exactly the same as the 1055/RX100 levers that came out at the beginning of the 1990s. So, the levers are full-size, but the hoods are a very comfortable non-bulky size....

I haven't actually used one of those -- does the straddle-release open enough to let a 38mm tire through? A Tektro 559 sure doesn't; I would have needed to add an extra QR in the system anyway.

At least for my gravel riding, a 52/13 top gear never comes in handy, so I'd probably lose the 13T in favor of a 14T or 15T, or shrink the big ring in order to free up derailleur capacity. :thumb:
