The other three I have seen pics of use either a GT brake contraption or a straddle around the seat tube.

Cable tension is adjustable by tightening nuts...more tension limits flex of rear fork...so far it seems to have a very nice ride.

Heard from the builder that he remembered building quite a few frames with the narrow fork, but unfortunately he didn't recall where the hubs came...

He only serial numbered the first 100 frames he built (1974-1977). After that he only stamped the last four of the customer's social on the steerer tube...

Heard back from Andy Gilmour...he built it in the late 80's when he was doing 300 frames a year, so no recall on this specific frame.
