The CAAD9 was the last "Handmade in USA" bike.

I was lucky enough to grab last one at my LBS. It was a CAAD9-6 in my size and I upgraded the parts to Ultegra.

You are letting your body repair and rest to 100% rather than constantly working at 80%.

Yea, there are a couple bridges you get to ride in the car lanes and a small part of an Interstate.

Rode it last year, kinda snuck in due to missing registration.

I'm using Shimano's bottom bracket (BB-6700) with a Ultegra 6600 crankset just fine on a CAAD9 BB30 frame just fine.

Agree with others, just test ride bikes and see which one you enjoy riding on the most. Just choose a bike that feels right sitting on, good shifting that you like, and the general feel of the ride....
