I commend you for all that you are doing but…..maybe consider something complete? I just doubt you’ll get the same magical handling/ride with such a replacement fork but I leave that to others more...

I have a px10 of this exact color way and decal set , I think perhaps 1976. Seat tube is ctt 21” (53.34) and top tube is 22” ctc (55.88). I think with a very short stem (45mm) this could work for you...

On rear derailleur hanger: do yourself a favor and just use a Simplex. They work very well so there’s no good reason to mess with notching/threading.

Very nice bike. I think there may be remnants of a decal on the fork blade near the fork crown. The shape of the outline could offer a clue as to type of steel.
