You could buy a gold plated Colnago made expressly for the Pope for about $4K less. I am at a loss what makes this track frame worth so much. It's limited numbers do not account for the high price.

The kicker for me are the cheap looking dropouts. There is just a lack of refinement to this frame that even chrome can't cover. No bottle braze ons and the bits that are brazed on also look cheap....
