Yes the shipping and likely duty is a killer. Keep in mind with current conversion rates the $24 tire at MEC is around $18 USD, so that one specifically isn't all that different than Amazon US...

Looking for possible recommendations on retailers.. as I have to call around to a couple LBS's still too..
Currently leaning toward the Continental's at MEC.
