Yeah, its isnt a Zwift thing - I just dont find ERG mode useful. At least Zwift allows you to turn it off. I cancelled Rouvy because ERG was fixed on when doing workouts.

I had the same recollection and did as you suggest. Unpairing and re-pairing went fine but the pop up never reappeared. I think there must be some separate way to disable the trainer part.
