Very nice looking bike. I like the choice of components. Still retains the vintage look. I don't think you need 27" wheels. My Grand Jubile is stock except for the wheels which are 700c sew-ups.

My first real bike was a brand new 1961 Varsity 10-speed. I love the checkerboard seat tube decals on the early Varsity. The bike was kinda heavy, but at the time I didn't know any better.

I just finished restoring a Fuji mixte frame with clearcoat over waterslide decals. The clearcoat helps protect the transfers.
