I use melted wax and will never go back to the hassle of degreasing/lubing weekly.

I think wind is going to have more affect based on aerodynamics….than rider weight. I hate wind…but I’m much stronger now(and I slammed my stem)….and wind doesn’t have nearly the affect on my rides...

I put 2500 on my Pirelli Velos without any problems. Center section of rear tire was a little squared off so I replaced it. Didn’t really need to be replaced, but I did it anyway for piece of mind.
