and yes, +1 to bent elbows being a good thing. You want your arms to feel relaxed when riding. Locked elbows and death grip is a common cause of shoulder and neck discomfort.

Don't sweat it - I rode 123miles/11,000ft on my 10 a couple of weeks back - no issues. Of course, wheels and fit are important but no reason to think you can't ride the frame for longer distances....
